During my enriching internship at Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (precisely in Badan Kerja Sama Antar Parlemen / House Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation) in 2021, I engaged in a multifaceted range of responsibilities that deepened my understanding of parliamentary dynamics and international diplomacy. A notable aspect of my role involved conducting comprehensive research into Indonesia's parliamentary diplomacy concerning the Rohingya issue, shedding light on the nation's active involvement in addressing critical global matters. Additionally, I actively contributed to the coordination of international conferences and meetings, showcasing my ability to efficiently organize and manage high-profile events.
My role also encompassed the vital task of creating compelling content and publicity materials for the entity, amplifying its reach and impact on various platforms. Furthermore, I was privileged to be part of the intricate process behind the creation of the "Indonesia Parliamentary Diplomacy in Rohingya Issue" book by Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Indonesia, which allowed me to contribute to a substantial and meaningful publication.
Collaboration was at the heart of my internship experience, as I worked closely with a dedicated team of five individuals. Together, we undertook a time-sensitive Inter-Parliamentary Union survey project focused on parliamentarians, successfully meeting a challenging one-month deadline. These diverse experiences collectively expanded my knowledge of parliamentary diplomacy, honed my teamwork and project management skills, and provided me with invaluable insights into the intricate workings of international relations within a parliamentary context.
